FaithTab is a Chrome browser extension that displays daily Bible verses on your new tab page. Your privacy matters to us.

Data We Collect

FaithTab does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This includes:

None of this data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

storage — Saves your settings locally. No data leaves your browser.

topSites — Displays your most visited sites as shortcuts, like Chrome's default new tab. Never sent externally.

bible-api.com — Fetches Bible chapter text for reading plans. Only the chapter reference (e.g., "Genesis 1") is sent. No personal data included.

bible-api.com — Public, free Bible text API. No authentication or personal data required.

Unsplash — Background images loaded from public URLs. No API key or user data transmitted.

PayPal — If you make a voluntary donation, you are redirected to PayPal. FaithTab does not process or store payment information.

FaithTab does not share any data with third parties. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.

All data stored locally. Clear anytime via Settings → "Reset All Data". Uninstalling removes all data.

FaithTab does not collect information from anyone, including children. Suitable for all ages.
